Pick up tickets in town first, get the car to drop at the base of the mountain (along the road to the right of the main ticket booth about 1km), walk around the sites and 1000 Lingas Carving, waterfall, Preah Angthom Pagoda.

Walk up to the big status of Buddha is really great, it starts with a mass of steps, along the way there are two pagodas (one old and one under construction) and a small pool if you already need to freshen up. The waterfall is beautiful and you can get really close to it. There are two waterfalls. First is smaller on the top and the larger one is connected for the first one to lower level. We can swim in the larger one. You can store your belongings in a bin which is at the bottom of the waterfall. It’s a small fee about $1-2 USD to rent one and they give you a key you can put on your wrist so you won’t lose it.

What to Expect

The first day of the tour: get up early at about 4 am starting the day in time for sunrise. The first step is to get your temple pass; a three-day pass costs $62. Then, we head to Angkor Wat for sunrise. After Angkor Wat, we continued to visit some unique temples in the Small Circuit and would be finished at around 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm.

The second day of the tour: We meet again at the hotel at around 8:00 am. Today you will see the temples on the Grand Circuit and the pink sandstone temple called Banteay Srey, the treasure of the Cambodian Art style, followed by sunset on the boat at the south gate of the great Angkor Thom City. We would return home at around 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

On the third day of the tour, we head to Tonle Sap, the great freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Today is the last day of traveling. You will get to know more about how we could build many temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park during the ancient times, especially in the Angkor Era, by visiting Tonle Sap Lake. We will continue to visit the Killing Fields of Siem Reap, the Angkor National Museum, and art workshops at Artisans D’Angkor. Optionally, you can visit the Cambodian natural village of Run Ta Ek if we still have time. You will be interested in the genuine Cambodian daily lifestyle in the rural areas or go to have a buffet in a Khmer restaurant. Kampong Pluk is about 35 Km locates on the Southeast of Siem Reap Town. The other, by overland just thirty minutes by tuk-tuk, upon arrival at the dock meet a boatman drive along a small stream to the village. It’s along the way to Rolous village, but still far from Rolous group temple.

You will be asked to take a boat trip for visiting if you want to see floating village. There’re Floating House, Told House (Life style of Fishermen), Village on the Island of Tonle Sap Lake, Floating Forest.
