Cycling tour in Siem Reap
Under the Cardamom Mountains or along the Mekong River, the lives of Cambodian villagers move forward remarkably. And when you look at a sunrise at Angkor Wat or the ruins of Taprohm, the modern world feels distant. While progress was for years dampened by a tragic history, Cambodia is now a country on the move. With riverside boulevards and art galleries popping up in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap’s growing reputation for hip cafes and dining, Cambodia tours aren’t all about the temple-gazing (although we have to admit, the gazing is pretty darn good).
Cycling tour in Siem Reap: Escape the frantic city sounds
On this small-group mountain bike excursion, which is only open to eight to ten people, you may escape the chaos of Siem Reap and experience the tranquility of rural Cambodian life. Your guide will take you along dirt roads that only locals know about, so you can get up close and personal with authentic Cambodians. Learn how rice wine is distilled while visiting rice fields, a neighborhood market, a mushroom farm, a lotus farm, and handicraft studios.
